I started as a software engineer in 2010, building mobile banking apps for Citibank Russia and HongLeong Bank Malaysia. I was drawn to how people interacted with technology on their phones, and how small UX decisions could make banking feel simple or impossibly frustrating.
At DBS Bank in Singapore (2014-2017), I worked across mobile payments, lifestyle apps, and built an AI-powered chatbot. That chatbot project was my first exposure to what AI could do with the right questions. It planted a seed.
At Citi, I moved into FinTech product, designing API and partnership programs that brought banking services closer to customers across APAC and EMEA. At Ant Financial (Alibaba/Paytm), I worked on a global payments platform designed to scale and localise for faster time to market.
Then came Gojek and Mapan(2019-2023). This is where my thinking changed. Mapan's mission was to empower women from low-income Indonesian families to become local entrepreneurs. I went from Lead PM to Head of Product, building the product org from the ground up. I learned social psychology, outcome-driven innovation, and how to build products where the stakes aren't metrics on a dashboard but real livelihoods.
Across 15 years and five companies, one pattern kept showing up: people produce better work when someone asks the right question at the right time.Not because they don't know the answers. Because they haven't been prompted to think about it.
Why I built SPM
As a product leader, I reviewed hundreds of documents from my team. The questions I asked always unlocked better thinking. But I also saw the other side: leaders too busy to review, authors suffering alone behind documents, and no one asking the questions that mattered.
In September 2023, I started building Super Product Manager. Not an AI that writes for you. An AI that asks what you haven't thought about yet. It makes the person sharper AND the process faster. The coaching is what makes the platform work.
